Message	:The less time a given mass of air spends moving across the intercooler the less time it has to dissipate heat. This is true, and is why it is important to have sufficient ambient air flow and ducting to prevent this from being an issue. Most dyno facilities I've seen don't have enough fans to provide the ambient flow that would be seen on the street.
